Corp member turns her NYSC khaki to bum short in order to slay.
An
unidentified corp member decided to recreate her NYSC uniform by
turning her khaki to a bum short. The young lady apparently wanted
something that will make her slay while giving it all away.
Her expression when she posed to
take this picture will make you wonder if she is trying to pass any
significant message across to the government. Recent trends show that
youths seem to be more interested in changing the uniform than in
impacting in the lives of the people in their PPAs.
With
the activities of corp members around us, one would agree that the
lyrics of the NYSC anthem is not firmly rooted in the hearts of the
serving members.
The service year
used to be looked forward to by most people in Nigeria then, it is
pathetic that the activities of some youths will make the scheme lose
its glory.
This
young lady might have posted this picture to get some kind of
assessment from people. Did she kill it or should she be punished for
it? This would not be the first time the khaki would be turned into
something else; if it is not some skirt, it would be some bum short.
